Stitch 21-22 Nov

Hi folks,

This last weekend I was lucky that I had time to stitched.

These are some of my progress. I was sticked with these two WIPs even I started to get bored with the blocking color (green and black) but I tried my best just have these two as my projects rotation.

This one make me sick with green color. I still have pages of green in the future waiting to finish.

I had almost finished with the girl's hair! Just need to fill in the black color. Still a long way to go. So far I like the way it's come out.

I am planning to buy 16 ct fabric for my new kit (will start soon). The kit I chose was Buon Appetito by Nicky Boehme (charted by Charting Creations) for small version.

Stitchy Weekend 14-15th Nov

Hi everyone,

How was your weekend? Mine was quite productive, in term of stitching. Let me share with you my progress last weekend. I continued my Dome project, and look at my progress.. ! I almost finished the girl's hair. I didn't continue my HAED, but I gridded the fabric for my preparation if I can reach page 3!

15th

I cleaned up my craft bag (a bag where I put some of my craft stuffs such as pattern, UFO project, threads). It was so dusty and made me sneezed for some times. I found that I still have stock of thread which is enough for few small projects. I want to have small stitching projects like Sodastitch or project from cross stitch magazine but I also don't want to spend a lot of money to buy new skein of thread so I decided to clean up and check my craft bag.

Some project that I found during my inspection ( I forgot I still have this project... lol)

this one is from Sodastitch and it finished

Another one from Sodastitch, but UFO.
I forgot this one and I haven't finish the backstitch. Will continue in this week.

For this small projects, I have no idea what to do with them. Frame? Cushion? Let's see what we can do with this...later on...

Dome progress 12th Nov

Hi everyone...

Last night I picked my Dome WIP and tried to make a little progress. Hihi ... can you see the difference from the last update? Not much I'm sure. I was so sleepy last night, so I forced myself to stitch and it's only last for 15 minutes, and I gave up. I put it back into plastic bag and go to bed. My eyes have been wandered and can't see the count for my stitch clearly.

This is one of my project that I like and also my first time do stitch in black and white portrait. Usually my preference is cartoon .. I rarely pick human portrait because it's bit boring. But this project caught my eyes, and I like how it's come out. The pattern is also quite easy to follow even without grid!

Today is Friday, so hopefully I can stitch more tonight.

Sweet Dreams progress 11 Nov

Hi folks,

I have tried to make some progress on my HAED - Sweet Dreams... and I found it's not easy to make progress that can be seen clearly. I mean, I spent two hours last night just to have tiny progress on my WIP.. I found confetti and struggled to adapt. I am focusing on the leaf right now. Hope you can see the line that shape the leaf, and about the filling... I need more days to fill in.

11th Nov

My chart here is only regular chart from HAED. And I'm struggling with page 1 and 2!!
It's hard to imagine people can stitch so fast and they even request for supersize and max colours? I'm curious with supersize and max colours since many people said it will give you more details in your results, and I would love to try... but... if I'm struggling to finish my first two pages on regular chart, will I able to do SS and MC chart? Hmm...still thinking about it.

Confetti is challenging.. I want to try to park my thread.. but so far I found only 1 one colour for 1 square in a page! I'm a cross-country stitcher, and so far I found my highlighter has helped me a lot with this method. Some blocking colours bit boring to do.. and for this chart, I'm stuck with so many green colours. That's why for my next chart.. I will skip green.. at least green background.

Stitching Progress 1 Nov to 8 Nov

Hello guys,

Its been a long time since the last time I opened this blog and post something. I will try to post more updates about my stitching works..

Here you go :)

The first pic is my update on 1st Nov and the second pic is my progress until 8th Nov.

Now..my beloved.. UFO HAED works..
The chart called "Sweet Dreams" by Rachel Anderson...
I've been working for such a long time for this one... and only tiny progress that  I've got. It's quite annoyed me to be honest. Start from 25ct fabric (suggested from website) that I didn't like. Tried to use Q-snaps and it didn't worked as it should be with me. I changed the fabric into 18ct fabric.. found that it didn't wide enough so I improvised by cutting off the edge of left and right side of the chart.
Another problem is I found it difficult to track my progress on the chart and bang..bang... bang.. I left it in my drawers for a long time. Now I picking it back.. learned some tutorial from youtube. Here is the link:

I didn't park but I started to use highlighter on my chart which I've never done before cause I don't feel I need to. But yeah.. I need it now.. Highlighter is my best friend for my HAED project. Here is some progress after hibernating for my "Sweet Dreams"

8th Nov

I am hoping I can make some progress in this week but let's see. I still have several WIPs and UFOs in my cabinet, I covered them with plastic.. I'll give some look and see if they calling me to stitch them back...
